5 must have natural plant oils for your skin care routine to achieve naturally flawless clear skin
Now, I bet most of you are thinking...What?? For blemish free skin, you shouldn't use oil because your clogging your pores and that will just make it worse!
Well the truth is there are specific oils that can be terrible for oily skin and acne prone skin but there is also a handful of oils that can be extremely effective when it comes to preventing blemishes and imperfect skin.
My interest in natural skincare began a few years after I studied Make-up Artistry and Beauty Therapy. My mind started questioning what would all these toxic filled products with harmful ingredients do to my skin in the long rung, not to mention my health.
Your skin is the biggest organ of the body so whatever you put on skin enters your blood stream in 26 seconds. Now that alone made me wonder what on earth was I doing.. It was time I starting using natural products and the rest is now history.
If you are having similar or the same thoughts than here are the oils I find are the most beneficial for flawless and unblemished skin.
- Hemp Seed Oil
Hemp seed oil is natures most balanced oil for humans. It is full of anti-oxidants and has regenerative qualities for your hair, skin & nails which helps with skin cell nourishment.
It also decreases acne, skin dryness, itchiness and irritation as it contains the same omega 3 & 6 as our skin.
Hemp seed oil heals sun lesions, inflammation and prevents anti-again. This is why hemp seed oil is one of my favourite oils and made it to the top of my list.
- Jojoba Oil
Jojoba Oil has a light feeling when used on the skin which is absorbed quickly. It is used for a wide range of skin problems because of its anti-bacterial properties.
Unlike some other oils, jojoba oil does not clog your pores and doesn't leave a greasy feeling on your skin which is ideal for acne prone skin.
Jojoba oil contains B complex vitamins, E, C, Zinc, Copper, Minerals, Silicon & is high in iodine which makes it perfect for all skin types from oily, dry, combination and even reduces superficial wrinkles in mature skin.
If you ask me, jojoba oil is essential if you want clear, youthful skin.
- Grape Seed Oil
Grape seed oil is one of those great oils if you have skin that doesn't absorb oil well and leaves your face with a greasy feeling. It helps regulate the natural production of your skins oil and the inflammatory properties help prevent acne as well as anti-aging. Once you try grape seed oil you wont want to give it up after you notice the reduction of dark circles and your skins complexion improves dramatically.
- Rosehip Oil
Rosehip oil is another quality oil with a long list of benefits for your skin. It is full of anti-oxidants, vitamins and fatty acids which have many advantages to improving your skin including reducing fine lines & scars, correcting dark age spots, hydrating skin as well as treating itchy and acne prone skin.
If you want your skin to glow and look healthy than you need to get your hands on some rosehip oil and add it to your collection.
- Castor Oil
You may have heard how good caster oil is for your hair, but what about your skin? Castor oil has the ability to prevent and reduce acne and also scars with its anti-inflammatory & anti-bacterial properties.
Castor oil seals in moisture while reducing swelling under puffy eyes.
This is definitely one of the top natural oil and easily made it into my top 5 list with its many versatile uses.
The consistency of castor oil is very thick and can be very hard to work with while applying to the skin but you can pair it with one of my other top 5 recommended oils for easier application.
There are many different uses and benefits to all of these oils so the choice is now up to you!
